This season it's all about the wooden platform there are so many cute versions of this shoe that I had to share with you.  I've paired these with my favorite jeans for a casual look or with a 70's inspired dress for a dinner with friends. Who Needs the Wardrobe of an Egyptian Princess? I DO!!!!

It's my Easter/Passover tradition, watching the Ten Commandments and every year I fawn over the Egyptian garbs worn by Nefertiti and the other women in the film. These beautiful ornate costumes are gorgeous and I want to dress like this everyday! LOL

Yesterday, I was watching one of my favorite episodes of Sex and the City entitled The Power of the Female Sex. Carrie's friend, Amalita uses her dazzling female charms on men for a good cause, haute couture? Fabulous trips, clothes and jewelry it's every girls dream right? But how far is too far for the glamourous life. In a world full of Chanel and Lanvin girls are doing anything to snatch their little bit of heaven. Whether it be a trip to Madrid or a rent payment. Why are we selling ourselves short. I guess fashion is a powerful thing, but I'd much rather buy my own McQueen.
